Advisory Regarding Coronavirus COVID-19

Tuition

Program Cost

$2,376.00 per session

Course Tuition$2,230.00 per session

Includes course tuition, supervision, extracurricular and co-curricular programming, and lunch.

Activities Fee$51.00 per session

Covers midday extracurricular activities and Columbia ID card.

Health Service Fee$95.00 per session

Grants access to Urgent Care at the University's Health Service facility during hours of operation. Fees for medicine and tests, if needed, are not included. The health service fee is not health insurance; all students are expected to have insurance coverage.

Application fee and course materials are not included in the program cost (see below).

Application Fee

Students are required to pay a nonrefundable $80.00 application fee.

Course Materials

Students should budget approximately $50 for books and course materials. Some curricular options may require additional materials.

Deposit & Balance Due

To secure a place in the program, a $1,000.00 nonrefundable deposit, credited toward tuition, is due upon notification of acceptance to the program. A bill for the balance due will be issued to the student's Columbia University email address in July. Before receiving a bill, the student will be sent instructions regarding the option to allow a parent or family member to make a payment through the university's Authorized Payer portal.

Notice about Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Deposit Refunds

If you are admitted to the program, we ask that you submit your enrollment deposit to reserve your seat. Students that pay the deposit will be issued a full refund if their course is canceled because of COVID-19 concerns, travel to Columbia University is disrupted due to the virus, or if they decide to cancel due to health concerns related to COVID-19. All other cancellations will be reviewed and subject to existing refund policies.

We understand the heightened concerns families have surrounding COVID-19. The University is keeping our faculty, staff, and administration informed of any new policies that arise for admissions, enrollment, and attendance. At this time, we plan to hold our summer immersion programs as scheduled and are excited to welcome students on campus.

Financial Aid

Individual applications for financial aid are not accepted. To learn about outside opportunities for financial assistance, we advise students to speak with their school's guidance counselor for information on how to search for financial aid and scholarship opportunities from outside sources and organizations.
