Matt Mazewski

Instructor | Pre-College Programs

Matt Mazewski is a Research Associate with the Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing at the Rutgers University School of Management and Labor Relations. He holds a Ph.D., M.Phil., and M.A. in economics from Columbia University and a B.S. in mathematics and economics with a minor in statistics from Haverford College. Dr. Mazewski's previous work experience includes time as a research analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and fellow with the think tank Data for Progress. While completing his doctoral studies, he served as a volunteer organizer for the union of teaching and research assistants, now known as the Student Workers of Columbia (SWC-UAW Local 2710). In addition to his role at Rutgers, he is also a Contributing Writer and book critic at Commonweal Magazine and a consultant for the nonprofit Groundwork Collaborative. Dr. Mazewski has been an instructor with the Pre-College Programs since Summer 2021.
