Shalma Wegsman is a trained physicist and science communicator. She has earned her Masters in Physics from NYU and Bachelors from the University of Chicago and has contributed to numerous research publications in the fields of particle physics, dark matter, and cosmology. She is also the co-creator of the podcast “Why This Universe?” which brings research-level physics topics to the general public and garners over 70k monthly downloads. She has previously taught at the Pratt Institute and has worked as a physics developer on the popular video game Kerbal Space Program 2.
