William Horvat
Instructor | Pre-College Program
William Horvat received his M.S. from the University of Chicago, with a concentration in condensed matter theory, and his B.S. in physics and chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Most recently, he was a guest researcher at the Simons Foundation’s Flatiron Institute, where he explored the implications of critical points and phase transitions in light-matter systems. Prior to his time at the University of Chicago, he spent several years in the biotech industry building gene circuits for small molecule identification and machine learning models for biological signal processing.
