V. David Russell is a financial services executive with over a decade of experience in private equity and private wealth management. As a trusted advisor and investor, he serves with Fortune 500 executives, entrepreneurs, endowments, foundations, and professionals in sports and entertainment to develop strategies that maximize their financial and social capital to create lasting impact.
David has held roles at firms such as TPG Capital, Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Office, UBS Wealth Management, and J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank. His expertise includes strategy, portfolio and relationship management, and business development. Beyond his professional career, David is a Luther King Capital Teaching Fellow and Adjunct Professor of Finance at Texas Christian University’s Neeley School of Business and an industry thought leader who speaks at conferences, panels, and financial media outlets.
David holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Texas Christian University and an M.S. in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. His interests outside of finance encompass art, travel, sports, civic engagement, and non-profit board leadership, focusing on organizations involved in education advocacy and policy, criminal justice reform, and impact investing.
