Hannah Brooks

Dr. Hannah Brooks has enjoyed a clinical and academic career as a board-certified general and breast surgeon for over 25 years. In 2018, Dr. Brooks pursued additional training in clinical cancer genetics with the City of Hope Division of Clinical Cancer Genomics, and transitioned into cancer risk assessment and genetic testing and consultation. She holds an MD from Albany Medical College and completed her general surgery residency and chief residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Einstein COM in New York. She has participated in tumor immunology research at Cornell University Medical Center and Sloan-Kettering Institute, and has published in peer-reviewed journals in the areas of surgery and oncology/immunology. Dr. Brooks is a recipient of the American Cancer Society’s Lane Adams Award for compassionate care of cancer patients and their families.
