Ki Young Kim

Instructor | Pre-College Programs

Ki Young Kim is a Ph.D. student in political science at Columbia University. His dissertation research is focused on political thought, especially conceptions of freedom and inclusion as advocated by immigrant labor activists in the early 20th Century in the United States.  He is also interested in the methods by which we study political ideas, especially when they are from societies that are far in the past or in regions of the world less familiar to us.  Ki Young previously attended the University of Chicago, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in English literature.
