Nikita Bezrukov

Instructor | Pre-College Programs

Nikita Bezrukov is a dedicated linguist currently serving as a lecturer in linguistics and critical writing at the University of Pennsylvania. His current teaching focuses on language revitalization and the ethics of language models, and he is actively involved in linguistic policy research. Nikita has extensive fieldwork experience, including ongoing research with Armenian speakers across West Asia, and is committed to preserving linguistic diversity. He was previously a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Lecturer at Princeton University. His primary research interests are in how words and sentences are built and organized by grammar. He also researches writing systems, focusing on how language is represented in written form.
