The City's Imagination: Writing New York New

In this ​course, students will engage with New York City's rich cultural, historical, and literary tapestry to craft original poems, ​short fiction, and essays. By studying iconic works of literature​ in conversation with the city around them, students will develop their own voices and storytelling skills​ while exploring with their instructor and cohort of fellow writers. 

The city will serve as a springboard to skill-build students' critical thinking and creativity while crafting exceptional pieces of writing ​inspired by the fast-paced world around them. ​
