CSPA 83rd Annual Fall Conference: Event Reminders

The Columbia Scholastic Press Association warmly welcomes our in-person and virtual attendees to the CSPA 83rd Annual Fall Conference! Here are some reminders for in-person and virtual attendees. 

After the conference, all registered attendees may view recordings of the 22 streamed events until November 30, 2023, via AttendeeHub.

For In-person Attendees:
To view the full program, with room locations, and more, please download the official Conference app, available in the Apple Store or Google Play. CSPA does not supply printed programs.

For security reasons, details for sessions will require a login to the app. Only registered attendees will be granted access. To access the app, you will need to do the following:

1. Enter your name as it was registered in Cvent.
2. Enter the verification code that was sent to the email address and mobile number you provided during registration.

You can use the app to create a personal schedule for sessions of interest. The app keeps track of these sessions, but it is not a reservation system. 

In compliance with University and city regulations, once all seats are filled, the session must be closed. Please note that seating in each of our sessions is limited to the number of seats in each classroom. Session capacities are on a first-come, first-seated basis. Admission is not guaranteed for any of our sessions. CSPA’s RedShirt staff help to ensure that seating capacities are respected.

For Virtual Attendees:

To connect to conference Zoom sessions:

CSPA uses the AttendeeHub platform to manage access to each of the available virtual sessions during the day of the conference. Please note: You must have Zoom installed on your computer before logging into the Hub.

To log in to the Hub, please follow these steps:

1. Click “Connect to the "AttendeeHub” 
2. Provide your first name, last name and the primary email address you used to register for the Workshop; click "Next."
3. The system will send a verification code to your email address and to your mobile number. Type this code into the login screen and click “Next.”
4. The Hub screen will display available and upcoming sessions. The “Join Session” link for each session will go live five minutes before the start of the session. 
5. When the “Join Session” button appears, click on the button to access the session page.
6. On the session page, click on the “Join Session” button once more, and the Hub will open Zoom on your computer, connecting you to your class session.
7. You can log into the Hub anytime, but the links to join the virtual sessions won’t appear until five minutes before they are scheduled to begin.
