Vanessa Carrillo
Associate Director, Pre-College Programs
Vanessa Carrillo is the Associate Director of Pre-College Programs within Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies. Her responsibilities include the development of access initiatives and academic programming for high school programs. Vanessa is also a member of the SPS DEIA Committee. Her aim is to help foster a culture that embraces tough conversations and embodies solidarity.
Prior to Columbia, Vanessa worked at Goldman Sachs where she supported executives in human capital management and employment law.
Vanessa serves as the City Coordinator on the board of a local youth soccer program, with a mission to foster the growth and development of the community’s youth through the sport of soccer.
Vanessa holds an M.S. in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University and a B.A. in Criminology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
She lives in New Jersey with her husband and four lovely kids.
