Laurena Marji

Laurena Marji is the Coordinator of Pre-College Programs within Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, where she supports operational, academic, and administrative workflows that shape the Pre-College student and instructor experience. She joined Columbia SPS in February 2023 as an Enrollment Coach on the Admissions Team, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Pre-College student lifecycle through her work with prospective students and families.

Laurena is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information and Knowledge Strategy at Columbia University, with a focus on knowledge management, digital transformation, and human-centered organizational design. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a minor in Disaster Studies from the State University of New York at New Paltz.

Outside of work, Laurena enjoys hiking, engaging with the arts, and building community. She is passionate about the transformative power of higher education and committed to creating inclusive, supportive spaces where students can thrive.
