Jennifer Bensko Ha

Director, Columbia Scholastic Press Association

Jennifer Bensko Ha is the director of the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. She is the fourth person to hold this position since the association's founding in 1925.

Ha is an alumna of CSPA and a graduate of Columbia College. She began her career at Newsweek, where she was first online editor, then senior editor in charge of daily operations for the website. Following that, she held various leadership roles at Fortune.com before being named editorial director. Later she led web operations at WNYC Radio, where she was the executive director of digital media. Her work has been published in NewsweekFortune, and Foreign Policy, among others.

She has served as a judge and as a head judge for the Overseas Press Club Awards, and has organized several panels at SXSW. Most recently, Ha held the position of senior executive director of communications and creative services at the Columbia University School of Professional Studies.
