Colin Slabach is a financial educator, researcher, and advisor with expertise in retirement planning, charitable giving, behavioral finance, and investment portfolio management. He is currently a full-time clinical assistant professor at New York University, where he teaches courses on a variety of financial planning-related topics. In addition to his academic work, he serves on the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB), the international governing body for the Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) designation. He is also an advisor to the FinTech firm Tolerisk. He has a Ph.D. and a Master's in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. An Undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University in Finance and an associate degree in economics from Lake Land College.
