Dr Robert Cohen has been an adjunct professor for Seton Hall University over the last seven years teaching courses covering topics in business, math, and computer science. Before that, he worked as VP & CIO running technology organizations for several Prudential’s asset management and investment businesses. In this role he managed software engineering teams around the globe to deliver large-scale software solutions to several institutional investment management businesses. Dr Cohen has recently (February 2026) successfully completed his dissertation defense and all of the requirements for his doctoral degree at Seton Hall. His doctoral program focused on higher education leadership, management, and policy. In addition, Dr Cohen is also a graduate of the executive MBA program at Rutgers University focusing on finance and investment management. He also holds a master’s degree in computer science from Montclair State University and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Rutgers College of Engineering.
