Diane Fener

Diane Fener is an experienced trial lawyer and law school teacher. A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, she has been admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia; Virginia; California, and New York. She was initially employed as a criminal defense attorney at the Washington, D.C. Superior Court; then as a civil litigator at the international law firm of Fulbright & Jaworksi in California before returning to public service as an Assistant Public Defender in Virginia and a Senior Attorney for The Bronx Defenders. She has been interviewed about trial procedures by The Journal of The American Bar Association, Dateline NBC, and The New York Times. She chaired The New York City Bar Association Senior Lawyers Committee for four years and currently serves on its Rule of Law Task Force
