Nick Farriella

Nick Farriella is a writer from New Jersey. He received his BA from Montclair State University and is a current MFA candidate in fiction at Columbia University, where he is a T.A. Fellow, Chair's Fellow, and was awarded the Waletzky Fellowship. In the past year, Nick was a TA in the Undergraduate Creative Writing Program at Columbia University, taught a fiction seminar for Columbia's Community Courses, high school English for Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, and workshops for NAMI NYC and The Fortune Society. His writing has been published in New World Writing, McSweeney's, Joyland, Barrelhouse, Schuylkill Valley Journal, X-R-A-Y, and elsewhere. His debut story collection Rules for Escaping was published by word west press in 2022.
