Hannah Ross

Hannah Ross is a current MFA candidate in Creative Writing (Fiction) at Columbia University, where she is a Chair’s Fellow, Thesis Anthology Editor, and was awarded a Felipe De Alba Fellowship. She received her BA in History from UC Santa Cruz and worked as a journalist for various outlets in Sacramento, CA, including Solving Sacramento, Capital Public Radio, and the Sacramento News and Review. She has taught creative writing with Columbia Artists/Teachers Incarcerated Writers Project and at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, as well as in high schools across Sacramento with 916Ink. Her work has appeared in Jokes Review, Misted, Dog Days Discourse, and Seen and Heard.
