Arka Bandyopadhyay

Arka Bandyopadhyay is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Columbia University and has also taught at New York University, Yeshiva University, the University of Miami, and the University of Colorado Boulder. He earned a PhD in Quantitative Finance from Baruch College, an MS in Mathematical Finance from New York University’s Courant Institute, an MS in Computer Science from Louisiana State University, and a BS in Mathematics and Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute. Dr. Bandyopadhyay has more than 15 years of industry experience in quantitative finance, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science, having held leadership roles at Franklin Templeton’s Clarion Partners, TIAA-Nuveen, UBS, Santander Bank, Deloitte, and Rocktop Partners. His research and professional work focus on AI, machine learning, forecasting, financial risk modeling, commercial real estate analytics, and investment decision-making, and he is a frequent speaker at industry and academic conferences.
