Alex Rothstein

Alex Rothstein is an American College of Sports Medicine-certified clinical exercise physiologist and a National Strength and Conditioning Association-certified strength and conditioning specialist with over 14 years of field-based experience. He earned his Ed.D in Applied Physiology from Columbia University Teachers College, his master's degree in Sports Science, and his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Hofstra University. In January 2020 Alex was appointed the program coordinator of the exercise science department at New York Institute of Technology where he teaches courses in exercise physiology, kinesiology, and biomechanics. His research focuses on physiological and biomechanical applications for improving health and fitness. Alex currently serves as the President-elect for the Greater New York Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine.
