Alice Wei

Instructor | Pre-College Programs

Dr. Alice Wei is a physician executive with two decades of experience in healthcare, leading clinical strategy, value-based care, and population health management. She currently serves as Associate Chief Medical Officer at Nephrolytics, an early-stage AI-driven digital health startup developing predictive analytics solutions to improve kidney care, enhance patient outcomes, and streamline clinical and financial workflows.

Previously, as a Medical Officer at Strive Health, a late-stage value-based kidney care startup, she led initiatives that achieved significant cost savings, improved patient outcomes, and increased equitable delivery of care. She spent 15 years in private practice and was appointed Division Chief of Nephrology at an inner-city hospital.

Dr. Wei earned her medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook and her bachelor’s degree from MIT. She is board-certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. She lives in Manhattan with her husband (a fellow nephrologist) and their children (who don’t enjoy their shop talk).
