Ananda Naima González is a writer, educator, and multidisciplinary artist in New York City. She carries a BA and an MFA from Columbia University, in poetry and fiction respectively. Ananda currently serves as an English coach at Armory College Prep and a writing mentor with the Young Artists Language & Devotion Alliance. She has taught a speculative fiction course at Gotham Writers Workshop, as well as a fiction masterclass at NYU. She has several years of experience working in the publishing industry, from assisting literary agents at The Wylie Agency to serving on editorial and publicity teams at Hachette Book Group. Her words have been published in BOMB, McSweeney’s, Catapult, Apogee, The Southern Review, Bellingham Review, Lampblack, Waxing & Waning, and Twin Bird Review. She has been a finalist for awards granted by Gulf Coast Journal, LitMag, Indiana Review, SmokeLong Quarterly, and The Lascaux Review, among others.
