Anna Schwartzman

Anna Schwartzman earned a B.F.A. in Creative Writing and Music Performance from CUNY Brooklyn College and an M.F.A. from Columbia University, where she was a Felipe De Alba Fellow in 2020.
She has taught the Master Class in Fiction and Advanced Workshop for Columbia's Pre-College Program and led learning labs at the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies in Armenia. As a graduate student at Columbia, she was part of the first cohort of Lead Teaching Fellows for her department and completed the Advanced Track of the Teaching Development Program.
Her writing has appeared in Reverie Magazine, Zero Readers, and The Brooklyn Rail. She is currently finalizing a full-length novel about Shostakovich and the Siege of Leningrad.
