Bart Rosenzweig

Instructor | Pre-College Programs

Bart Rosenzweig is a fourth-year PhD candidate in Mathematics at The Ohio State University, where he works in mathematical physics, complex analysis, and spectral theory. His dissertation work focuses on the application of resurgence theory, a relatively new mathematical framework for understanding how to “add” sequences of numbers which are not summable in the usual sense, to problems in quantum mechanics and quantum field theory. He completed his bachelor’s as a double major in Physics and Mathematics at Hunter College, where he was a student in the Macaulay Honors College and did research in numerical methods for quantum chemistry. He has taught recitations at the undergraduate level for three years at OSU, and is excited to be a part of Columbia’s Pre-College Program as an instructor in Mathematical Methods in Physics!
