Corey Jay Liberman (Ph.D., Rutgers University, 2008) is a Professor of Public Relations and Strategic Communication in the Department of Communication and Media Arts, as well as Director of Learning Assessment, at Marymount Manhattan College. His research spans the interpersonal communication, group communication, and organizational communication worlds, and he is currently interested in studying the social practices of dissent within organizations, specifically the antecedents, processes, and effects associated with effective employee dissent communication, as well as risk and crisis communication. He teaches Interpersonal Communication, Communication Theory, Public Relations, Organizational Communication, Group Communication, Communication Theory, and Communication Capstone. He has 50 publications, including seven books: Organizational Communication: Strategies for Success (2nd Edition), Casing Persuasive Communication, Casing Communication Theory, Casing Risk and Crisis Communication, Risk and Crisis Communication: Communication in a Disruptive Age, Casing Mediated Communication, and Casing Nonverbal Communication.
