Dante Kanter
Instructor | Pre-College Programs
Dante Kanter is a poet, writer and bookseller from Woodstock, NY. He received his BA in American Studies from Kenyon College and is a current MFA candidate in poetry at Columbia University. For the past year, Dante has taught a weekly poetry workshop at The Bridge, a city-wide non-profit which offers supportive housing and behavioral health services to vulnerable New Yorkers. His writing engages heavily with historical research and documentary poetics, blurring the line between poetry and non-fiction. His debut chapbook, SPILL/WAY, is forthcoming from Spoonbill Press.
