Dena Goldblatt

Dena Goldblatt is a post-doctoral fellow at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NIH). She holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from New York University (2024) and completed her undergraduate studies at Brandeis University, where she earned a triple B.S. in Neuroscience, Biology, and Psychology, a minor in History, and an accelerated M.S. in Neuroscience (2017). Dena's research interests are in the assembly and function of vertebrate neural circuits, and she employs a combination of developmental, molecular, systems/circuits, and behavior-level approaches. She has over ten years of experience in mentoring, teaching, and other outreach at the high school and undergraduate levels. Dena has been a Neuroscience instructor for the Columbia Pre-College Program since 2019.
