Ferhat Zabun

Ferhat Zabun is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY) and an Adjunct Lecturer at Queens College, CUNY. He earned an M.A. in International Relations from Galatasaray University, and a B.A. in Foreign Language Education from Bogazici University. His research focuses on international security and foreign policy, with a particular emphasis on the threat credibility of authoritarian leaders during international crises. His research draws on game-theoretic approaches to understand strategic interactions between political leaders, military elites, and foreign adversaries. He has taught courses in research methods, international politics, U.S. foreign policy, and introductory political science at Queens College. His work has been published in Foreign Policy Analysis.
