Jasper Pan

Instructor | Pre-College Programs

Jasper Pan is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance at The College of New Jersey and a Pre-College Instructor at Columbia University. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance from Rutgers University, an M.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Applied Mathematics and Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

His research examines banking, corporate finance, financial technology, and artificial intelligence, with a focus on how technological and regulatory change shape risk-taking and financial stability. His recent work on bank diversification, cryptocurrency markets, and generative AI has been presented at leading academic conferences, including the Midwest Finance Association, Financial Management Association, and Eastern Finance Association.

Dr. Pan has received recognition from the American Finance Association and has taught courses in FinTech, Investments, Corporate Finance, and Financial Management at The College of New Jersey and Rutgers University.
