Laurena Marji

Laurena Marji is the Coordinator of Pre-College Programs at Columbia University School of Professional Studies. She has been with the program since February 2023 and previously served as an Enrollment Coach on the Admissions Team.

Laurena is a graduate of the State University of New York at New Paltz, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a minor in Disaster Studies. She is passionate about helping students explore their academic interests and find which path is right for them.

During her undergraduate experience, Laurena served as a Peer Mentor, Resident Advisor, Orientation Leader, Emergency Services Intern, and conducted ongoing research on student leaders and the challenges they face when delegating. She was also the President of the Outdoors club encouraging students to get out of their comfort zone.

Laurena is a native of Yonkers, NY, but she enjoys being in nature, hiking, swimming in waterfalls, and exploring new places! Laurena looks forward to providing students with a high-quality educational experience that will help them prepare for college and beyond.
