Marjorie Seidenfeld

Dr. Marjorie Seidenfeld is a Pediatrician and board-certified Adolescent Medicine specialist who earned her medical degree at the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. During her subsequent tenure as a faculty member at Mount Sinai, she was responsible for developing the curriculum for the medical students and residents who rotated through the Adolescent Health Center and oversaw their training in Adolescent Medicine. More recently, she has served as the Medical Director of the student health service at Barnard College for 17 years, mentoring and training the staff there as well as providing medical care and education to students. Since leaving Barnard, Dr. Seidenfeld has founded EmpowerUny, a Clinical College Guidance service empowering high school students with chronic medical and mental health issues and their families toward a smooth transition to college.
