Mia Thomaidou

Instructor | Pre-College Programs

Mia Thomaidou works in neurolaw and interdisciplinary neuroscience. She holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Leiden University, two M.Sc. degrees, in clinical neuropsychology and criminal justice, and a B.Sc. in cognitive neuroscience. Her teaching and research experience spans neuroscience, psychology, criminology, legal science, data science, and program design and evaluation. Her work focuses particularly on how neuroscience is interpreted and applied across legal contexts and in professional education. She has published interdisciplinary research in behavioral neuroscience and on topics such as neuroscience in criminal courts, judicial decision-making, bias, and neuroscience education. Over the past decade, Mia has contributed to science training programs and professional education initiatives across higher education and science-serving nonprofit settings.
