Michael Pomirchy

Michael Pomirchy received a B.A. from California State University, Los Angeles, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, and a Ph.D. from Princeton University. He is currently a researcher at Stanford University and was previously a postdoctoral researcher at the Institution for Social and Policy Studies at Yale University. His work covers multiple areas, including causal inference, natural experiments, and game theory. In recent projects, he has examined the relationship between vaccinations and the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases, biases in mass contact of elected officials, the effect of elections on legislative representation, and the welfare effects of intra-party factions.
