Nelson Orellana

Nelson Orellana is a Specialist in Instruction and Curriculum with Columbia University’s Pre-College Programs, where he supports the development and delivery of engaging academic experiences for high school students.
Having previously served in multiple roles within Pre-College, Nelson brings a strong foundation in instructional support, program operations, and student engagement. His work focuses on ensuring that both instructors and students are equipped for success in dynamic learning environments.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Computer Science and holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from Mercy University. Nelson is passionate about supporting effective teaching practices and fostering meaningful learning experiences.
