Paul Smith

Paul Smith has been an educator in multiple scientific disciplines for over 20 years. He earned a BA in Psychology from Columbia University, followed by a PhD in Molecular Biophysics in 2005, also from Columbia.
As an academic, Dr. Smith has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers in fields ranging from machine learning to medicinal chemistry. He has also worked as a software engineer and data scientist in the digital media and healthcare sectors.
Bringing a multidisciplinary approach to education, he emphasizes empowering students with the skills and confidence to pursue their curiosity.
