Rachel Bloom

Rachel Bloom is a 6th year doctoral student in Applied Developmental Psychology at Fordham University, where she teaches college psychology courses at the intersection of ethics, human development, and family systems. Her research focuses on enhancing well-being among people with dementia and their families, the complexities of navigating end-of-life decision-making within the U.S. healthcare system, and the psychological trajectories of dementia medical surrogates. She holds an MS in Bioethics from Columbia School of Professional Studies and an ScB in Human Biology: Brain & Behavior from Brown University, and she will be celebrating 10 years of living in New York City this August.
