Regan Mies

Regan Mies is a current MFA candidate in Creative Writing (Fiction and Literary Translation) at Columbia University, where she received her BA in political science and German. She is also an associate coordinator and workshop instructor with Columbia Artist/Teachers as well as a jury advisor with cross-cultural organization New Books in German. Regan has previously worked in the editorial department at Abrams Books and taught high school English and creative writing in Hamburg, Germany as a Fulbright Grant recipient. Her work has appeared in the LA Review of Books, the Cleveland Review of Books, the Asymptote Journal blog, On the Seawall, and elsewhere.
