Yeiny Moreno Cabral

Coordinator for Student Affairs, High School and Non Degree Programs

Yeiny is the Coordinator of Student Affairs for High School and Non-Degree Programs at Columbia University School of Professional Studies. She has been a part of the team since February 2023. 

Yeiny graduated from Smith College with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience where she conducted research in a psychology lab as a research assistant and lab manager. She was also a House Social Events Coordinator, Head of New Students, House Community Adviser (RA), and served on the executive board of the Latin American Students Organization.

Yeiny was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to New York City at the age of 12. Through her education and experiences, Yeiny developed a passion for working with kids and youths in different aspects of their development. Prior to working at Columbia University, Yeiny was a Family Treatment and Rehabilitation Preventive Case Manager in Brooklyn and an ABA therapy assistant teacher in the Bronx.
