Tom Hayes
Faculty Adviser, Ben Davis High School; former journalist
Tom Hayes is a former award-winning sports editor turned journalism teacher. He advises newspaper, yearbook and magazine at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Hayes spent 20 years covering central Indiana sports and is in his 20th year teaching high school journalism. His favorite professional memories include covering the Indy 500 and Friday night high school football games. Hayes is a passionate baseball fan and is nearing his goal of visiting all Major League ballparks.
