Jeannette Sanchez
Assistant Director of Student Affairs, Pre-College Programs
Jeannette Sanchez first began her work with the Columbia University Pre-College Programs in the summer of 2013 as a Residence Life Intern. She has since spent every summer working with the team, growing with the high school programs, and working in higher education in the Hudson Valley through her college education. She was able to join the Columbia Pre-College team in 2021 on a full-time basis to serve as an Assistant Director of Student Affairs for Highschool and Non-Degree Programs.
Jeannette graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a B.S. in Jazz Voice Contemporary Music Studies and Pre-Music Therapy, and again with an M.S. in Music Therapy. The things that bring her joy outside of the workplace include book podcasts, musicals, mystery solving, gaming, baking, and animals in any form, as she takes extra time to work with pets.
