Dr. Yvonne Hampton earned her PhD in Consumer Economics and a master's degree in Personal Financial Planning from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She also holds a master's degree in Economics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, a master's in Business from Avila University, and a bachelor's degree (BS) in Economics from Avila University. With over 15 years of experience in both teaching and practicing economics and personal financial planning, Dr. Hampton brings a wealth of expertise to her work. Her research focuses on the relationship between finances and health, retirement, health insurance, housing affordability, and equity.
