Caitlyn Yaede is the print managing editor of The Daily Tar Heel–UNC’s independent, nonprofit student newsroom. She received her B.A. in Media Journalism and Political Science from UNC last May and is currently pursuing her master's in public policy and certificate in Innovation for the Public Good, also from UNC. Caitlyn studies innovation in the local news industry and the role of the media in mitigating inequality within policy and politics.
