Dr. Chriscelyn Tussey is the President and Founder of Metropolitan Forensic & Neuropsychological Consultation PLLC, a private practice in New York City. She is a Board Certified Forensic Psychologist through the American Board of Professional Psychology and a Clinical Neuropsychologist. She is also a Fellow of the National Academy of Neuropsychology. Dr. Tussey is the former Director of Psychological Assessment at Bellevue Hospital Center and currently maintains an appointment as a Clinical Instructor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and serves as an Adjunct Professor at New York University. In her practice, Dr. Tussey conducts clinical as well as civil and criminal forensic and forensic neuropsychological evaluations and consultations. She has been qualified as an expert witness in State and Federal courts. Dr. Tussey is a passionate advocate for leadership and professional development and has held local and national positions in both forensic and neuropsychological organizations. She is an invited speaker at local, national, and international conferences and has published and presented in the areas of criminal and civil forensic and forensic neuropsychology as well as leadership and brain health.
Dr. Tussey earned her doctorate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is one of few psychologists who has obtained formal postdoctoral training in both Forensic and Clinical Neuropsychology. She completed a one-year postdoctoral fellowship in Forensic Psychology at the University of Virginia Health Center (UVA), where she divided her time between the Institute of Law, Psychiatry, and Public Policy and Western State Hospital, and subsequently completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology, also at UVA.
