Karl Gude
Former journalist, journalism instructor, Michigan State University
For 28 years, Karl worked in N.Y. City and Washington, D.C. as the Director of Infographics at AP, Newsweek, The National Sports Daily, and other news organizations. In 2006, he became a full-time instructor for the School of Journalism at Michigan State University where he taught two subjects: Creativity and Problem-Solving, and Infographics. During his 15 years there, he was presented with both college and university-wide teaching-excellence awards. Karl was also active at MSU teaching visiting high school journalism students for the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA). Karl is also an artist.
