Perry Callahan

Perry Callahan earned a BA in psychology from Boston University and a master’s degree in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is currently a PhD candidate in clinical psychology at Fordham University, where she teaches in the psychology department.
Before pursuing forensic psychology in graduate school, Perry researched the development of antisocial behaviors in preschoolers and worked as an analyst at a legal research firm. Her clinical work focuses on assessing defendants for alternative-to-incarceration programs and providing therapy to individuals on supervised release from federal prison.
Perry’s current research examines violence risk assessment, ideological extremism, and conspiracy theories. Her work in this area has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences.
