The Internship in Building Community is ideal for growth-oriented, creative college and grad students who are interested in collaborating with others to help shape and support Columbia University’s High School Immersion Program.

For Summer 2024, we are offering an in-person residential opportunity on the Columbia University Morningside campus in New York City. The position will offer room and board throughout the duration of the program. Applications for 2024 residential intern opportunities will open in the coming week.

For Summer 2024, we are offering On Campus Program Facilitator & Remote Course Facilitator roles. While these are not part of the internship, these roles do work with our high school program and offer fixed-schedule work hours. Housing is available for those applying for the On Campus Program Facilitator. For more information on the application process, please visit the Program Jobs tab.

These opportunities will allow interns the chance to build connections through Columbia networks, gain skills as a leader and community builder, and identify professional values that drive your career choices while contributing to a dynamic and engaging academic program geared towards high-achieving high school students from around the world.
