Withdrawal, Deferral and Refund Policy
Withdrawal Policy & Deadlines
Students may withdraw with a full refund minus the non-refundable enrollment deposit if a withdrawal form is submitted by the deadlines indicated below. After the deadline has passed, students and parents/legal guardians are liable for the current semester (tuition and fees).

Fall 2025: September 18, 2025 11:59 p.m. ET
Spring 2026: January 21, 2026 11:59 p.m. ET

NYC Commuter Summer - Session AA: June 18, 2026
NYC Residential & Commuter Summer - Session A: June 25, 2026
NYC Residential & Commuter Summer - Session B: July 17, 2026
NYC Commuter Summer - Session C: July 30, 2026
Online Summer - Session AA: June 18, 2026
Online Summer - Session A: July 2, 2026
Online Summer - Session B: July 16, 2026

Deferral Policy and Deadlines
Students should plan to enroll in the term for which they apply. However, admitted students who have deposited may submit a request to defer enrollment to the same program next time it is offered (e.g., Summer program to Summer program) with the permission of the Admissions Committee. Generally, requests are granted only for compelling reasons. Reasons the Admissions Committee may consider include medical or family emergencies, or extraordinary opportunities. Any tuition that has been paid will be applied to the updated enrollment term.
Students may only defer admission to the same program. For example, a student who is admitted and deposited for a summer online program may only defer to a summer online program next year. This same student must reapply if they are interested in an online fall/spring program, or a different program all together. Additionally, students are only permitted to defer admission once before reapplying.

Refunds
Enrollment deposits are non-refundable, this includes moving from multiple sessions to a single session (e.g. Student pays deposits for sessions AA, B, C, then changes to only session AA. Student will forfeit deposits for B & C). Please review the withdrawal and deferral policy above regarding tuition & fee refund policy.
