The Course Facilitator role runs from June 19th to August 9th, 2024. This includes a training period and the weeks the courses are running.
Online Course Facilitators are paid $22 per hour and can expect to work 10-15 hours/week.
Program Facilitators are paid $22 per hour and can expect to work 30-40 hours/week.
You do not have to attend Columbia University or Barnard College to apply. Applicants are welcome from any college or university (as long as the applicant has at least one year of experience at a U.S. college or university).
The population is made up of undergraduate and graduate students from universities across the U.S. with various cultural and educational backgrounds.
Unfortunately, no. All employees must live in the United States for the duration of their role, regardless of modality.
Application Process
Applications for Summer 2024 are closed. The application for Summer 2025 will open in late November 2024 or early December.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants will typically hear back 1–3 weeks after all materials are submitted.
Facilitators will be hired on a rolling basis. If granted an interview opportunity, applicants will know if they have been extended a role no later than a week after their interview. Please note, applicants who do not progress to the interview round will not be notified.
The application process is on a rolling basis. We typically respond between 1–3 weeks from when you complete the entire application; however, hiring continues throughout the spring and you may hear back from us at a later date.
All interviews are conducted online via Zoom. Applicants should have a functioning webcam and microphone and ensure they have a stable internet connection prior to their scheduled interview.
Please note, not all applicants will receive an interview request. Only those deemed qualified for the next round in the application process will receive an invitation to interview. Due to the volume of applicants, we are unable to provide feedback on applications.
